Let me take a look at that video.Ĭomplete name : D:\living reality\vide grpahut relty\big\pot pvp asmr\ 14-15-05_H.264.mp4įormat profile : settings : CABAC / 4 Ref Framesįormat settings, Reference frames : 4 frames Yes, except my max b-frames are set to 2 and I record to MKV, then I convert the video to mp4 h.264 with ShutterEncoder. Vegas crashes for almost everyone, if you feed it video it likes it may be less prone to crash, is your OBS set up the way I suggest? Record to fragmented MP4 with autoremux set to mp4. This is typically not what you would want, but you like it, it's more of a video FX then good frame blending.Īs for your crashing, you may have been told this by me or others, in OBS recording settings make sure key frame interval is set to 1, if you're already doing that, could try max B frames to 1. I can literally see the parts of each of the 4 frames mixed into the single frame with Vegas during high motion. I had a look, I also looked at this in other NLE's, I think but not sure that other NLE's and shutter encoder do a better job of frame blending. I know ShutterEncoder is a free encoding software that has plenty of features regarding frame rate (Thank God) but I can't seem to figure out a way or at least understand how to replicate the smart resample frame blending trick that Vegas does with ShutterEncoder. ![]() Could this be possible? If it is and I need to do the frame blending first some other way before editing the actual video, does anyone know how I can do this? I know ShutterEncoder is a free encoding software that has plenty of features regarding frame rate (Thank God) but I can't seem to figure out a way or at least understand how to replicate the smart resample frame blending trick that Vegas does with ShutterEncoder. ![]() I am now starting to wonder if it has to do with Vegas not cooperating with high frame rates. I've used every solution, from switching MP4 codecs to wiping my entire settings/preferences to factory defaults. I've done hours of research and even made a previous thread on this subject. The only problem is that Vegas crashes all the time. Vegas is one of the only editors I know that has this feature besides Premiere Pro but I can't afford that. I make Minecraft gameplay videos that are recorded at a high frame rate such as 240, then I use VEGAS to edit and render the tape down to 60 frames per second using smart resample and frame blending.
